Bridge Street Cottages, so quaint!!

Wander downtown Bigfork towards the bridge and the Pavement comes to life with little images of local wildlife imbedded in it. Currently occupied Bird Houses are sprinkled between the Cottages. Wonderful place to stay! 

New restaurant in Whitefish alert!

Just had delicious Tamales at a little new restaurant in Whitefish called La Cosina Feliz! Run by a family and served by the family! They share the kitchen with Quickies!! Quickies by day and La Cosina Feliz by night! Great idea! Lovely people and great atmosphere!!

These lovely bronzes grace the entrance to the park across the one lane bridge in Bigfork. 

Woke up to this!

Marina Cay is a lovely spot on the water on the right as you turn into Bigfork. Swallows were swooping over the water and geese honking overhead as I walked out of our room! Great way to start a Sunday! 

Schafers in Woods Bay is THE place for a wonderful meal!

Great food, great service, great ambiance ! Definitely worth a visit!

A night in Bigfork

It began at the wonderful new Flathead Lake brewery for appetizers! Great views and fun atmosphere and sunshine!!

Anyone go to a one room school house?

This is one of my favorite land marks in Glacier Park. Having started my adult life as a teacher, I wonder how hard it would have been to teach all those grades together in one little room! 

Began my day finding this wonderful scene on the deck of a little home in Swan Lake. Being a Realtor sometimes brings lovely surprises like this!

I love old windows. Finding this in an old barn on the way to Polebridge was such a thrill. Pays to get out of your car!!

Old Gnarled Roots!

Don't you just love these gnarled roots! Glacier Park is full of them! 

Beaver dam in Glacier Park

Every year I visit this spot expecting the little beavers to be gone or this dam to have washed away. But every year they build on a little and repair the damage from the spring thaw. 

West Glacier Canadian visitors center

Great building at the entrance of our gorgeous Glacier Park. It borders The Waterton National Park and they are together an International Peace Park. Some of the most stunning vistas in the world. 

Hungry Horse reservoir

One of the largest dams in the country, Hungry Horse dam wall is over 560 feet high! The Recreational area surrounding it  is a favorite camping, hiking and fishing area for us locals.
