Don Beans plays at Depot Park!

What a wonderful Arts Festival at Depot Park and to top it off Don Beans was playing. Fabulous talent! If you get a chance to go you won't be disappointed! While you are there you must try the pulled pork sandwich!! Yum!!! 

Have you seen Big Fish yet?

We are so lucky to have such amazing talent in our valley! Whitefish Performing Arts Center at Central school has three plays this summer. We just saw Big Fish last night. It is spectacular and well worth the time to see it! Support our local theaters so these wonderful actors keep coming back. The talent from around the country is stunning. Broadway actors in our little Whitefish! Wow!

Idyllic Whitefish Lake!

How lucky are we who live in this spectacular place! Tonight I began and ended my walk with this scene! The beach wasn't crowded and some brave souls were still in the water! The lake was sprinkled with kayaks and paddle boards! The sun set after 9 pm and it was lovely out!! Parents were out watching their kids climb on rocks, build sandcastles and play catch! The boaters were just coming in for the evening. A wonderful night!

Just love Lilac Season!!

This has been an amazing spring and the Lilacs seem to have lasted longer than usual. My whites are still in full bloom!  Love it. 

Love the sunshine but praying for rain.

It takes so long for the forests to recover from forest fires. But you can see the old burn and the new growth. Love it how nature regenerates!! This is north Glacier Park near Polebrdige! 

Love this time of year!

Spring is so gorgeous here! Especially when the sun is shining! Flowers everywhere but my all time favorite has to be the Crab Apple in flower!!

This is a beautifully designed building in the heart of Bigfork. They hold many different displays of art during the year. Well worth a visit!!

I love this place. The friendly staff, diverse menu and unique decor make this a great place to meet for dinner or lunch! Watch a sports game, join them for Trivia or just enjoy the ambience! Make sure you try the Pear and Blue Flatbread!!

Cubana sandwich anyone?

Coqui's Restaurant is a must stop on your way through Eureka!! "Coqui's" are little jungle frogs that make a noise like "coqui" ! The food is wonderful and if you have room there is the gourmet Ice Cream bar! Down the road is a wonderful women's clothing store... The Sunflower Moose clothing store !! Worth a visit!! 

Anywhere you walk in the Flathead is astoundingly gorgeous!

Just walked out my door and saw nobody for an hour. Peace and long evenings with beautiful skies and wild life. This is Montana! 

How on earth did they get this up a mountain?

This wonderful Vintage Well hammer contraption is at the very top of a mountain! We hiked 300 yards above a very scary road that my all-wheel drive didn't like much! But what a cool thing to find on a remote property. This is what I love about being a Realtor! What a treasure!

Sometimes being a tourist in your own state is just plain fun!! This is the only place to eat in the little town of Rexford! It is run by a family and has been for years. Full of character and Characters! I love it. Best steak sandwich I have had in ages!

Wild flowers in the spring and jam in the fall!

Oregon Grape and Wild Strawberries grow everywhere here. The Oregon grape is bitter to taste but makes the best jelly!! Mixed with your excess apples, it is even better!! 

Maury Povich talks to the Rotary Club in Kalispell

Maury Povich loves the Flathead. He and his wife Connie Chung have owned a home here for years. He owns our fantastic paper the Flathead Beacon so makes regular visits up here. Today he spoke to us at a Rotary lunch. Great speaker and really funny! When asked, "what is the best advice for our kids" he replied "Let them follow their passion! Support their passion"! Thank you Kelly Siblerud for the wonderful invitation! 

Can't get enough of Glacier Park

No matter what the weather, Glacier Park has the magical quality of looking the same, but different, every visit! The clouds reflected on the water, or the fog, or the rain, ice and snow, all make small changes to the scenery but nothing takes away its ethereal splendor! It is one of the most stunning places on earth

If you haven't tried the Pocketstone Cafe you need to! Full of personality from old town look to the fun character on the menu! Portions are huge! 

Lion Lake.

There is a stunning and extremely easy walk around this little lake. Totally peaceful! The only people there! Ah Montana!!

Bridge Street Cottages, so quaint!!

Wander downtown Bigfork towards the bridge and the Pavement comes to life with little images of local wildlife imbedded in it. Currently occupied Bird Houses are sprinkled between the Cottages. Wonderful place to stay! 

New restaurant in Whitefish alert!

Just had delicious Tamales at a little new restaurant in Whitefish called La Cosina Feliz! Run by a family and served by the family! They share the kitchen with Quickies!! Quickies by day and La Cosina Feliz by night! Great idea! Lovely people and great atmosphere!!

These lovely bronzes grace the entrance to the park across the one lane bridge in Bigfork. 

Woke up to this!

Marina Cay is a lovely spot on the water on the right as you turn into Bigfork. Swallows were swooping over the water and geese honking overhead as I walked out of our room! Great way to start a Sunday!
